Talking Watch for Kids

A watch for kids that tells out the time. Additionally, users can set an alarm and use the band as a scale to draw and measure lines. 

An engaging watch for kids that has a round-shaped dial with two small ears extending outside. There are two buttons, one at the two o'clock position (S1) and the other at the four o'clock position (S2). To wear, gently tap the silicon band toward the hand wrist and the band will be attached automatically.

There are many advantages of this watch. It has a power saving mode which helps to conserve battery. Also, users can switch between the 12 and the 24 hour format. Moreover, users can set the alarm at the time of their choice. Furthermore, to enhance accessibility, voice navigation is present for all settings. Last, the silicon watch band can be used as a 25-centimeter ruler by extending the silicon band flat.Measurements can be made using these tactile dots.

The buttons in the watch are easy to use. The steps to carry out the functions are mentioned below:

1. Activating Sleep mode

• Press and hold S1 button 5 sec to activate power saving mode or alternatively, press S1 button three times to activate power saving mode

2. Time and Date announcement

• Press S1 button once, the time will be announced. Press S1 button again, the date will be announced

Note: Press and hold S2 button for two seconds to activate the setting mode  and set 'Set Hour' as default

3. Set Hour:

• Once you hear "Set Hour" being announced, press S1 set hour

4. Set Minute:

• Press S2 button, until you hear "Set Minute" being announced. Press S1 to set minute

5. Set Year

• Press S2 button, until you hear "Set Year" being announced, press S1 to set year

6. Set Month

• Press S2 button, until hear "Set Month" being announced, press S1 to set month

7. Set Day

• Press S2 button, until you hear "Set Day' being announced, press S1 to set day

8. Set Alarm Hour

• Press S2 button, until you hear 'Set Alarm Hour' being announced, press S1 to set alarm hour

9. Set Alarm Minute

• Press S2 button, until you  hear "Set Alarm Minute" being announced, press S1 to set alarm minute

10. Set Alarm On/off

• Press the S2 button until you hear the announcement 'Set Alarm.' Press the S1 button when you hear 'Alarm on' being announced. The 'Di Di' sound that follows indicates that the alarm is now on. To turn the alarm off, press the S1 button again. You will hear the announcement 'Alarm off' along with a short interval of the 'Di Di' sound, signifying that the alarm has been turned off.

11. Set Chime On/Off

• Press the S2 button until you hear the announcement 'Set Chime.' Press the S1 button when you hear 'Chime on' being announced, indicating that the chime is now on. To turn the chime off, press the S1 button again and listen for the 'Chime off' announcement.
