Small rod like pegs that are used alongside Taylor frame to do mathematical calculations.

There are 32 unique combinations from 4 shapes and 8 directions. Each combination uniquely represents numerals, mathematical symbols, and operators.

The first row of inserts in the frame represents the initial number, and the second row indicates an arithmetic operator followed by the second number. The third row conveys the result of the arithmetic operation, and subsequent rows are used to hold values like remainder, carryover, or other temporary variables during the calculation process.
